So the next set of scraps I pulled up has one of my favorite colors - purple! I can honestly tell you I have no clue where this paper came from, the textured card stock came from
All That Scraps online store, the ribbon is
PaperTrey Ink that I bought from my dear friend Michelle (visit her blog via the link on the sidebar - very good!!). I again tried to go vertical becuase it is something kind of new to me (Hee, Hee). I also tried to use a paper punch that I have not used in years - can't remember the last time I used it...that long. Sad thing is, is it is a square punch - how many times could use that in the course of making cards? Seesh....I really need to stop hoarding!

HI Molly,
ReplyDeleteYour card has a very light hearted feel to it.
Can I also humbly suggest that you play with your square punch a little. Turn them, stack them, fold them, take just bits of an image. You could be rather glad you have your square punch.
Purple in all it's hues and shades speaks to me too! - The colour of Kings!
Love this CAS card...a square punch is great for inchies and I've been known to punch out lots of scraps with mine to make patchwork backgrounds...great way to use up those scraps too!
ReplyDeleteLove the purple! It's my favorite color and oh um my birthday is in November! ;) Thanks for the comment on my Winter White card - you are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteWonderful CAS card, love the design of this paper.

ReplyDeleteVery cute - I am a paper and embellishment hoarder - I just can't bear to throw it away b/c I am sure as soon as I deo I will find the perfect use for it.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours and patterned paper you have used for this card. I am with Julie in saying play and experiement with your punch more. There are a lot of ways you can use it.
