What About A Challenge?

Not going to lie - my mojo is basically gone.
It has been this way and I can't get it back right now.
I think I need to do change gears for just a bit.

So I am thinking about challenging myself with a couple back to back monthly challenges!
Some of the ideas I have are:
One Random Acts of Kindness A Day
Make on Christmas Card A Day
Pray For a Specific person A Day
Fitness Challenge of some sort
One Scrapbook Layout A Day
Give Away One Thing A Day
Take A New Picture A Day
Drink A New Kind of Wine A Day
Etc,

You get where I am going here.
What kind of challenges have you done in the past or want to do?
All ideas are welcome!

  1. I once read Proverbs 31 every day for a month.

I think I could probably manage Take A New Picture A Day without burning out after a week (like the writing prompts challenge). ;-)

  2. You know what I do, Molly Roo...and I don't know if it's intentional, but it ends up helping when I feel like I have zero creative juices. Is I take on a project. One of the things I hate doing the most is mass-producing. So what I'd do is today start cutting card bases for Halloween cards...or die cutting a bunch of Halloween something for the kids' classes for Halloween. And ohhhh my arm will start hurting and ohhhh how boring it'll be. BUT! - I'll have part of the project done and in the bag...and by the time I'm done, I'll be totally wanting to create instead of do something task-oriented...if that makes any sense....?

The other thing I do - really well, ha! - is go buy something new. Doesn't have to be a million dollar purchase....could be a $4 pack of pretty Prima flowers.....or a new little pack of patterned paper....something to get excited about and want to get creating again. Sometimes I'll just go wander Hobby Lobby and leave with nothing...but seeing all the fabric and different things to create with makes me want to create.

And if none of that works...I'll just go sit my fat-ass on the couch and watch Food Network and enjoy! ROTFL!!

    Hugs, girlie!

  4. I'm all for "Try a New Wine Day!" I may even join you on that one. I don't know what to tell you about getting your mojo back. I know I've been there, more and more lately. If you find a cure, please let me know. I wish you the best in getting yours back. I know you'll find it, your too talented not to.
