Talkative Tuesday

I am back!
We have had a busy week or so and I will fill you in here!

T-Ball started - you would never know it from this picture but Abby actually cried the first two innings of the game....go figure.

Check out more photos of Abby and her watergirl sister here:

I have entered a couple auctions on Facebook. I have been doing  packs of cards and notebooks like the one below.  I love notebooks as I am an avid list maker and I write all things down.

Nick and I went on an Army Strong Bonds Marriage Retreat at Myrtle Beach with the kids. It was great - or at least I thought! My language is Words of Affirmation.  Nick's is a tie between Quality Time and Acts of Service. I have been doing my homework and am working on "speaking" his language - lets see how he does too.... :)  I highly recommend this to newly weds - I think it would be a great tool to have from the beginning.

I also had my first visit with a doctor about my anxiety issues that have come about in the last 6 months or so.  She gave me some homework and tasks to complete (or not in some cases) and I am excited to work on this and get it fixed!!

  1. Hi Molly, awesome you all went away to strengthen your marriage and family. I pray the Lord give you wisdom, peace and patience through this new path.
I will share what I've learned about patience, it's not how long we wait, it's how we behave while we're waiting.
Enjoy this new journey. Hugs to you.

    Have a great day!

  2. These are great seminars for building strong marriages. Wish they were around years ago. :)

  3. Sounds like you had a nice time Molly! It's great to hear that you're both working toward the same goals...I'm very happy for you Hun! TFS!!!!!

  4. Hi Molly! So glad to hear that Abby ended up enjoying her first t-ball game! That picture is adorable and thanks for sharing! So glad you and Nick got away for a bit and am glad that things are going well. You two are special and deserve all the happiness in the world! =)

  5. Your journal is beautiful! And thanks for the recommend on the book. I have heard a lot about it and now I really want to pick it up! Military life is difficult...we can sure use all the help we can get!

  6. What a fun journal. Hope you are doing good! Miss you!

  8. Molly, the marriage retreat is such a wonderful idea for all couples! Love the picture of your daughter and what a fabulous card!

  9. T-ball! Boy does that take me back. I hope your darling daughter has a lot of fun playing ball this Summer!
Good for you and your DH to go off on a retreat; it sounds as if it was great. I wish you the best dealing with your anxiety issues. You have taken the first step by seeking help and that is wonderful! Your eagerness to get this "fixed" as you said will certainly be of great help to you. Hugs and blessings to you, Molly!

  10. Beautiful little girl, & Beautiful Notebook! Good for you and your DH for taking the steps to keep your life and marriage on the right path. I hope the homework and your family can help with the anxiety. Hugs and prayers to you and yours.

  11. Beautiful little girl. I love the notebook and how you decorated it.

  12. Hey girl, this is very interesting...I am going through a break-up from a 6 1/2 year relationship and he is very unaffectionate...I know that the way he shows love is through acts (he always did nice things for me and took care of me) but, I wanted physical affection (nothing to do with sex, lol)! Somehow, even though I know that he shows love that way...it never felt like enough for me...this is only one of many issues we had...but, it was one of our biggest...
In the last year and a half..I finally realized that I have experienced a lot of anxiety..didn't know what it was before...I finally decided to talk to my doctor about it...it's easy to convince one's self that something isn't as big as it is...Anyway...lol, sorry for the life story! I found you at The Outlawz and am now a follower...looking forward to seeing some of your creations :D

Thank you so much for your comment! I really apprciate that you took a look and left some love!
