Swap Cards!

Yes - I am making my way back into it! May was for some reason an awful month! Going back to work, adjusting to a schedule of three in one, family issues (not in my house), and more...YIKES!

I took some time really realize what I wanted to do...read more, cook more, stamp for me more....not just swaps. I do have swap cards to show as I am finishing up those I have signed up for. I guess I am tired of working really hard and getting so-so back, or forgetting and holding a swap becuase mine are one of the last ones in. Oh well...

That and I want to get back into making good cards and being a serious blogger again

I had not used my cuttlebug in a while so I brough it out to make some cards in no time...I do think the last one looks like it took me no time....I hate it when my cards look sloppy!!

Blog Surfing & Christmas

So today I have scheduled in a break in my busy work day to blog surf becuase I am dreadfully behind due to the crash of my home computer...I plan to be caught up and to get back in the swing of the normal by the weekend!!

So Christmas was on my mind....can you tell??

Shopping has officially started so maybe that is why...hmmm

Love this Christmas Card? I do too - but I got tired of using the same set over and over again...this was the SU! City of David's last hoorah at the Ritterbeck home....07 In Colors - won't you come back??

Whoe doesn't love an altered item? I gave this gift to a secret pal who's name starts with "p". Is this actually a useful frame or a decoration? It is up to them...fun to decorate though!

My computer seems to be back working better - knock on wood here....

Welcome Back!

I'M BACK!!!

I got my computer to upload and work!!

Funny story...

We got our laptop back and I was so excited - until when you try and type stuff it just doesn't work. You press "a" and "as" comes on the screen. This happens with lots of keys - that is why the computer guy sounded frustrated - and he is not a professional just a friend - so we are just going to roll with it...

I decided to try my good ol desktop a try and it worked...knock on wood!

The card is from nothing other than a card kit...don't you love it?

First Day Back to Work

So, today is my first day back to work...BLAH

I was up at 4:30 like always to start getting ready and finish up my card for the Fun-Frilled Design Team...actually it was done, I was just de-bugging my computer last night and could not upload it until today. PLEASE check it out and look at the details for the new contest!

My computer is on the up and up *cross your fingers* as it did allow me to upload pictures...my husband's laptop is going to get fixed today and then will be called Molly's laptop :)

I will be posting more cards this week provided work does not kill me...thanks for hanging in there while my computer has not been working and I have not been able to post ladies!

Yes - For the first time in a while I have nothing to post more than some randomness...

I found out I liked ham salad yesterday!

I found out that you CAN be over educated!

I found out that the terrible two's have set in...

I found out that it is possuble to have half your face go numb from the dentisit (yes on purpose).

Chew on that until tomorrow ladies - my two year old is screaming about the dog...who is harmless...

Design D.I.V.A.S Challenge

We were to use a very unique technique (which if you know me I don't venture into the technique world much) with our cuttlebug and scrap paper. Instead of using scrap pieces, I used scrap punch pieces and this is how it turned out...I didn't trim the white completely perfect to give it the scrap feel instead of the background.

Not completely sure that I like my colors, but I guess I am just happy I tried a new technique!

Easter, Soldiers, & Fun-Frilled

So here is my Easter centerpiece that also doubled as goodies for the soldiers to take home with them. I cooked for a few soldiers that are going to be deploying in about a month...Nick would have been deploying as well if he had not changed units - thank God for that! I made them Easter goodies just as I did last year when they all came home...never forget to thank a soldier for what they do...Soldiers give you your freedom everyday, God gives you forgiveness for life.

These also double for a monthly challenge (such a multi-tasker aren't I?) on a thread for SCS for Procrastinators...we had to use hoarded items...that would be the bottles I have had since Christmas and the SU! paper since I don't know when!!!

Due Date!

Okay - so today is my due date...but nothing as of now...bummer! I did get another clean bill of health at the doctors though. I have also decided to take vacation until the baby comes becuase when I drive to work I am an hour and a half from the base hospital...just doesn't make me that comfortable!

I have not been nesting in the cleaning manner that most expect, but I have been wanting to cook and bake! YUMMY!
