A Little Help Today!

On a quick "HELP ME!" note...
Can anyone help me get back to my original blog where I have two columns only? I miss it and want it back....a surprise to anyone who can help me!!!

A Little Much Maybe?

My daughter Abby insisted on me using the ribbon...I think it might be a little much, but I am not sure. I think though that we are the worst judges of our work.

Making Memories eyelets, Doodlebug Textured paper, otherwise same as yesterday!!

I Love This Dang Monkey!

Changito is like a Lay's potato chip...I can't use him just once!
I loved the colors so much, but I had to give it a pop with the orange!

Not much for today....just the cutie above!

The Black Phase Has Begun

S0 some people do theme weeks or have a certain style that they follow for a week to give people an idea of how things can be done.
Not the case here...I just ran across an extremely HUGE amount of black textured paper in my supply closet. So this isn't a week of black or anything like that...it is called Molly needs to use what she has and not buy anything for a long while!
Hope you like my black phase! :)

So the black cardstock you are going to become accustomed to is AC Textured Cardstock and so is the white, the super cute pink gingham ribbon is from Michael's dollar spot, the jumbo silver eyelet on top card is clearance from Hobby Lobby, the black eyelets on the bottom card is Making Memories, some scrap pink patterned paper, and last but not least, both sentiments are Stampendous.

How Precious

I was making a birthday card (yes that is all it seems I do anymore!) for one of our dear friends Miss Darlene from church. She is the most wonderful woman I know. Both her and her husband Charlie are so kind and loving...and they always seem to say the word "precious" when we talk!
When I saw this image - which was sent to me so don't ask what she is - I thought how precious! I knew it was perfect!

I used some silver Making Memories eyelets, BIC markers to color, PaperTrey Ink white cardstock, and some scrap patterened paper I had laying around.
I started last week off slow...wanted to ease back in...this week you will have more!

Abby's Piggy Bank

My mom and dad came to visit over the New Year holiday and made mention that Abby was old enough to have a piggy bank, which made me realize that I had forgotten it for Christmas.

That was it - my girl was getting a piggy bank!
An emptied and dried apple juice container, scrap pink paper (even though it looks orange), scrap green paper for the name, my cricut, and some clear packing tape later......My little girl has a piggy bank from her momma.
What do you think?

FRONT:
BACK:

Abby loved filling it with coins mainly due to the loud "clunk" sound it made!

Another Church Birthday

Another birthday in the church is soon and I happened upon this cute image that was sent to me that was prefect even though I don't know where she came from!

I believe the image is Stampin' Up!, scrap paper, brads from Hobby Lobby clearance, AC textured card stock, and Close To My Heart cream colored paper to border the Angel.

I hope that this one is loved as well!

Happy New Year!!

Happy 2010 Everyone!
The #1 Resolution I made for myself was to give myself more "me" time so that I could create and blog about it...I have been able to do it so far...lets just hope that this continues past the first week!

I had to start back in the act with some birthday cards, and this one is for one of the girls at my church who just turned 14!

Good 'ole Riley Moose by Hannah Stamps, some AC Textured card stock, scrap paper in pink, jumbo eyelets from Hobby Lobby clearance, $1 ribbon from Micheal's, and then colored the image with my awesome BIC markers.

I sure hope she likes it!
