I used a Gina K $1 stamp I got for 40% plus my 20% military discount at AC Moore - yes folks I paid $0.40 for this $1 stamp....hehehe. I had to keep my freeze still in place and not fell bad about spending!

Love This Layout!

So I needed to make some birthday cards as I am on the BRAK team on SCS (Birthday RandomAct of Kindness group) and I wanted a new layout.  I was looking through one of my stamping magazines and found this one!  It might have been Paper Crafts but don't quote me on that.

I love it so much I made a few stamp changes!

Cards for Christ Sunday

Sunday is a day filled with church for me. I lots of time do nursery duronig Sunday School hours, then church (Abby is starting to sit with me for part of it), then home, and night service. I love my pastor and my church...not much more I can say on that!

These cards are using Our Daily Bread...The second one I like better, but I think they both are simply said. I will probably give them to the "Someone Cares" Ministry at our church. They write to prisoners and it is almost completely funded by the leaders of the group, so I like to help out when I can.

Love Those Cards

Today is a busy day...Nick is gone playing Army, Mom's morning in the park to watch the kids play, time with my friend Lisa and her kiddos, and then who knows what...I think game night with my girlfriends??  I think I still need a babysitter!!

Here are a couple more cards using my patterned paper stash - these are Close To My Heart, the cardstock it is mounted on is CTMH, Georgia Pacific Cardstock base, and Stampin' Up! Sentiments

So fun, right? I like my cards, not as much time as I used to, but it gives me some serenity!

Good Cards - Bad Pictures!

Here are some really cute, simple cards I did!  **Cute in my eyes!**

The middle one is a lttle had to see the sentiment even in person!

Of course the corner punch stamp from Stampin' Up! was used and one of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets (I am horrible with names) and all the paper is Close To My Heart!

Happy Birthday To You!

So I am forever falling in love with Close To My Heart papers!  I love how they come with solid colored cardstock in the package that matches everything in that pack!  I am learning...slowly but surely how to make things easier!

The corner punch and sentiment is Stampin' Up! but the papers are all Close To My Heart!

I put these two plus some others in a cute little silver tin and donated then to the Relay for Life auction that my company does....didn't bring byt $15 each, but hey - I figure they got a bargin!

Notebooks Galore!

I had made some notebooks for a craft show I was in...here is a few of the ones I made...I am partial to the first one and the second to last one!!  I used everything that I had in my own stash...made it fun to go through that and use it...that is really what I have been trying to do instead of spend money, hoard it, then forget about it!

Eyelets, Ribbon, Paper - Oh My! Challenge #2 Entry

So blogger is not letting me type first instead of pictures...silly program.

Anyways...me and the girls of ERPOM had our second challenge. The Ribbon is my inspiration....we had to let a ribbon inspire us.  I kind of cheated though....I have been using papers I have been hoarding and when I saw this ribbon I knew I had a perfect paper that matched!  

The ribbon is Stampin' Up! and I have to laugh...my demo Manda Doorley picked it out for me...I told her "I have this much money...send me ribbon."  Since Manda has great taste, I wasn't scared!

The paper is 100% Close To My Heart....patterned, solid red *matching* cardstock background, and *matching* teal corner punched (by Stampin' Up!) cardstock.

Yes folks...it all matched!

Got to Love a Thank You Stash!

SO it is not my stash....but I think I might take a Saturday and create one as I tend to always find myself needing one or a friend needing one!

Close to Cocoa...I will miss you....Stampin' Up! - What have you done??

Close to Cocoa - faux ribbon to separate my two stamped sentiments.

Can I just tell you that a wise friend of mine was telling me about how she buys everything in inclussive packs so that everyting matches.  Close to My Heart paper packs have the matching solid colored paper in their packs....These last two cards were CTMH - and can I just say I am going to order a bunch more of these papers....my fav!

This card - I love this paper! Not so keen on the card itself.

I think it is just because I loved the paper so much I wanted to card to just be the bomb...

Didn't work so much for me! What do you think?

Thank You Cards Day 2

Hello!

As I told you all yesterday these are thank you cards I was asked to do for a friend...

I kept the layouts basically the same but varied the papers and such.

I used Close To My Heart papers...couldn't tell you which pack it is but I love this one! I also used the Stampin' Up! Corner punch (I think my all time favorite punch to use), Stampendous stamp that I found (the inside sentiment says "to thank you") at Michaels on a random shopping spree, and last but not least the brad is Stampin' Up! (THANKS MICHELLE!)

Oh - on this last one I use Stampin' Up! Cardstock for the base...To ink the stamp I used the markers from SU! because it just worked out better.

Also a note - I kept the card non-baby showerish so that she could use them for other things if she didn't need all 100 for the baby shower!

Another Church Birthday

Another birthday in the church is soon and I happened upon this cute image that was sent to me that was prefect even though I don't know where she came from!

I believe the image is Stampin' Up!, scrap paper, brads from Hobby Lobby clearance, AC textured card stock, and Close To My Heart cream colored paper to border the Angel.

I hope that this one is loved as well!
