Technical Difficulties

Okay - so just let me tell you how mad I am
I had more notebook sets for you to see.
They didn't post when I wanted and now they are gone.
To boot they are erased from my computer and are mysteriously not on my external hard drive anymore.
I can't take more your pictures of them becuase they were gifts and are now gone.
It is not my day.
I am sorry girls...Once I get more things done and more pictures taken.

Notebook Set #4

Day #4
So this one was fun....it reminded me of Valentines/Middle School....Don't ask me why but it did!
Lots of pinks and purples from a paper pack that was at Wal-Mart of all places!

I used the SU! spiral punch on this one and some simple brads from Making Memories. I thought this one would be great for the girl who loves love...you know you have some innocent girls like that in your life!

Notebook Set #3

Day #3
Can I just say that I love these things?!
This one I actually filled the frapp bottle so you can see a filled one.
Here the paper is from Hobby Lobby and I used my new (thank you Michelle) SU! brads which I now love!

Notebook Set #2

Before we get to the altered items I want to ask a favor...
Nick was on a jump yesterday afternoon and his jump went well. As soon as he got back to his aid station (he is a combat medic in the army) he got called back to the drop zone. Two people that we know of got sent to UNC hospital for surgery - one with they think a broken back and the other has to get surgery to remove the pressure in his head.
I just ask you take a moment to say a prayer for them.
Day #2
I decided on this one to get fancy and add another color to the non-paper items. I thought maybe this would give a stand apart detail.

This paper was picked up from All That Scraps clearence section....I love this place becuase you get money back on what you purchase to use towards your next purchase!
The ribbon and cardstock is from this year's Stampin' Up! In Color line, and thecircle scalloped punch and brad are also SU! - not my favorite but it will do.

Notebook Set #1

My love of notebooks has gone crazy! I am going to do what some other girls do and post a few days on the same type of thing...my notebook sets! I made them all for a friend to give as hostess gifts for her baby showers. I hope she loves them!

Nick (my dear husband) had the rough job of drinking the Starbucks for me...I hate cold coffee tasting things...they have to have ice and whip cream to be good....oh well -he survived!
The tins I got at Archivers in Ohio for $1 a piece, and the notebooks were on special at Office Max for $1 a piece, and the pens were 5 for $4.19.
The paper on this one was from All That Scraps - great online store! The Stampin' Up! corner punch was of course used as it is my favorite and the brads were also from SU! ~ Courtesy of my purchase from Michelle :)

Oh Bella....

I had this love for Bellas...then it went away...now we are friends.
I thin it is because I just had overkill on her.
But we are good now!
I was asked to do bridal shower invitations and this is what I came up with!

First of all I apologize on the stinky picture...I need a light tent....or at least I want one!
The Stamping Bella is Sposabella, Cardstock is Georgia Pacific, BIC Markers (my favorite!), some glitter on the flowers, and the Cuttlebug background. Topped it all off with some Wal-Mart ribbon and it was good to go. To make it fancy I printed off the details on linen paper and put it in inside....super cute!

Bakset of Pampering Love

I like to give gifts, but I hate to spend a ton of money these days - mainly because of my daycare bill! :)
I decided to give a couple friends a surprise gift for helping me out a while ago.
I decided that everyone loves some pampering!

What you see is dollar store basket, pumice stone, pedicure set, and nail polish.
To add my own flare, I altered the tag on the pedi set, provided the rub on sanitizer, and made my own sugar scrub! I found the recipe one night when looking for a conditioner recipe because mine ran out after an episode with the girls in the bath tub - don't ask.

Here is a close-up on the sugar scrub and sanitizer....I love the mason jar look!
Ribbon is from AC More, rub-ons are Stampin' Up!, scraps for the tag are just that...

Noteworthy

I love to make lists. To make lists you need paper and pen/pencils.
I have a crazy thing for notebooks and paper.
I have a crazy thing for lists!
My husband thinks I am a weirdo and to be honest I think it is a little crazy myself at times.
Lists about books to read, crafts to make, sketches of layouts here and there, grocery lists, to-do items, dinner for the week, etc....
Oh well - it is what it is,
So this leads me to my love of notebooks....here were some ones that I made for fun!

I have to be hones here....I know nothing about the designer paper, I think the cardstock and ribbon on the first page are Stampin' Up!, but this was all stuff from my scrap pile and odds 'n ends basket (random embellishments).

Ryley Turned One!

My youngest turned one and of course I had to make the invitations! I call her my peanut, but her theme was monkeys...so cute!
The ribbon is Wal-Mart, Making Memories brads that were punched first with my Crop-A-Dile, the corner punch by Stampin' Up!, which is also my cardstock. The monkey is a clear stamp set from Hobby Lobby and was colored in by my favorite BIC marker!! No Changito, but still pretty cute if you ask me! The designer paper I picked up from Hobby Lobby as well...I must get better at remembering the company names....I LOVED THIS PAPER!

Instead of asking for gifts we asked people to bring books that could be donated back to the daycare as some of the books were becoming rather worn. We were able to donate 30+ books so I felt pretty good about that, because the toys would have been forgot about in 3 days.

Cool Beans!

In cleaning out my crafting closet I can across some old card kits from my swapping days. I decided I had enough in me to do one before I should start cleaning again.
I believe that the paper is retired Stampin' Up! all the way (cardstock and designer), and the stamp is from?? SORRY! I liked how I layered the ribbon on top of cardstock for a nifty look...go me for a good idea (that many people have done before!).
Plus the thought of a good cup of coffee (LOVE ME SOME STARBUCKS) and I had to do this card!

My Blog is Carbon Neutral! Post #2 For Friday!

My blog is carbon neutral!
I ran across this website on a Blog Buddy's website. I always try to find ways to alter items in my ever increasing sense to save money and save the earth. I have begun to really try and be concious about we do, buy, and throw away. This website just gave me another shot to help out!!
Please copy and paste if it doesn't link right - I can't seem to make it work!
Please go check it out...it doesn't take much, but it makes a world of difference!

Look Ma - Clean Hands!

Okay - In search of teacher's gifts and random gifts for those people that you want to get something for but not necessarily buy something for.
I bought the hand sanitizer at the dollar store, peeled the front label off, and used Goo-Gone for the back label. Found some rub-on's from Stampin' Up! and here you have it!!

I loved these things so much! I so far have made 20 for my ex-boss whom I love dearly, and will be making them for the two craft fairs I have signed up for! Wish me luck for those!!!

Happy Birthday to Landan!

Okay first and foremost - I must apologize...I just was sitting down to get some more posts ready and I saw that I had no new posts for a couple days...Apparently I hit the save button and not the publish button! Yikes!
I made birthday invites to Landan's 2nd Birthday! I was so excited to do this! I used colors from last years Stampin' Up!

So the ribbon is from Wal-Mart (we finally got one!), jumbo eyelets from clearance at Hobby Lobby, Stampin' Up! Cardstock, and an Elmo image from the Internet.

Excuse the Pictures!

I started a Facebook page called none other than Miss Molly Creations and was asked to do Valentine Cards for a friend's little girl. These are some of the ones that I did!
Please excuse some of the bad photos...I am trying new things to get the best quality and these obviously were not good...anyone got a light tent they want to sell??

I love this dang monkey! Changito is my favorite! I also used the Stampin' Up! Sets that are some of my favorites: Loads of Love and Boatloads of Love - and the penguin is from the Holiday Mini this year I believe.

I Love a House Mouse Stamp!

I love House Mouse stamps.
I really do.
I find myself not coloring them becuase I think unless you are really good at coloring (I mean REALLY GOOD) you can take away the look of the great images. I merely just try to accent the gorgeous images with the proper paper and ribbon.
This was another birthday card for my precious Miss Darlene...a great "grandmother" to my kiddos.

Bunnies!

Birthday cards for the church members always makes me smile. I like to let them know that I was wishing them happiness on their special day!
I used some AC Cardstock, Bic Markers (my favorite), jumbo eyelets that were clearance at Hobby Lobby and a Stampin' Up! Image that was given to me!
